Volunteers needed to distribute: How to Run for Office

As you may know, we recently launched our 2006 manual on “How to Run for Office,”

but it doesn’t do any good to have such a great resource if no one knows about it. We’re hitting the pavement this weekend to distribute flyers and hand out business cards that give information on how to run for office and to encourage more people to get involved in local politics.
There are seven different times to help out, and I’m hoping you can find some time in your schedule. We’ve identified all the locations and have detailed maps of the areas to cover, which makes this effort easy and organized. The weather is supposed to be decent over the next few days and it’s a fun way to meet some new people, plus the last stop on many of these shifts is the local bar…
