Volunteers needed, The Matchstick Group
Posted by on July 16, 2007
In preparation for a fall 2007 pilot program launch, a new, innovative nonprofit organization in Philadelphia is conducting several focus groups and surveys during this summer to gain important feedback and insight from our potential consumers, partners, and stakeholders.
The MatchStick Group is developing a community-driven website centered around giving/philanthropy in the Black community!
We need eager, capable VOLUNTEER assistants to help us create and implement research strategies to make sure the site is tailored to the needs of our constituents.
We need help with:
* Creating focus group/survey questions give us critical feedback about our initiative
* Planning the actual focus groups/survey execution (everything from securing sites/venues to recruiting participants)
* Analyzing the data we get from the focus groups/surveys
This is an exciting opportunity for undergrads, grad students, professionals, volunteers, and anybody else interested in helping us bring a dynamic initiative to fruition! We will conduct this research during the months of JUNE and JULY.
To express interest or learn more about the program, please email Naomi Christine Leapheart, CEO, at [email protected], the following:
* a statement of interest outlining any relevant experience you have (particularly in research/evaluation or nonprofit volunteer work)
* your top 2 volunteer interests from the list above
Blessings,
The MatchStick Group
