Volunteers Needed, The Lenfest Center
The Lenfest Center is a community center that offers academic, arts and athletic after school programming for youth, ages 5 – 18, in the Hunting Park Community.
The Lenfest Center is seeking volunteers for its after school program, and is primarily in need of volunteer tutors. Volunteers are needed to assist with lesson planning, homework, recreational, and enrichment activities for youth in grades K-12. The program operates 3-7:30pm, Monday-Friday. Interested persons must be at least 18 years or older and be willing to submit to a Child Abuse History Clearance.
This is an exciting and meaningful service opportunity, and we’re looking for volunteers with energy and enthusiasm as we build this new community resource.
