Volunteers Needed: The 2024 National STEM Challenge Review Panel
Posted by National STEM Festival on September 26, 2023
We are seeking volunteers to evaluate student projects in six STEM categories. To qualify as a reviewer, you must either possess at least four years of professional experience in a related field (including teaching) OR be a current graduate or doctoral student.
STEM education plays a vital role in shaping the future of our world. As such, it’s important that every student receives meaningful feedback and encouragement to help cultivate and foster a genuine interest and passion for STEM learning and careers.
Participation from scientists, engineers, educators, and professionals would help instill a sense of confidence and motivation to pursue their passions further.
It also looks great on a resume!
The digital review process will take place in November-December 2023. Each volunteer will be assigned to review 10-12 projects (Approx. 2 hours of virtual volunteer time is needed). We encourage you to volunteer your time to support these young scientists, innovators, and engineers, and to find inspiration along the way! Students with top scoring projects will be invited to participate in the National STEM Festival in Washington, DC in April 2024.
