volunteers needed, Super Solar Saturday

We would like to invite your organization to become volunteers at the Mann Center in Fairmount Park for Super Solar Saturday! On this FREE community and family day as part of our New Frontiers Festival, The Mann campus will be transformed into a space-themed park with space-inspired face painting, hands on science experiments, three stages of global performances featuring roaming life-sized Star Wars™ characters, and a screening of the Oscar-nominated film Hidden Figures.

We hope that your volunteers can join us to assist with set-up, clean up, artist escorting, greeting guests, and other various roles. Three work shifts are available throughout the day and each volunteer must participate in a MANDATORY training session on Friday, August 18, 6:00 PM at the Mann Center (see below for address). In addition, we will provide lunch for all volunteers!

Date/Shifts for Volunteers: Saturday, August 19, 10:00am-2:00pm, 1:00pm-4:00pm, 3:00pm-6:00pm
