The School District of Philadelphia is having a week-long professional development workshop for elementary school teachers and principals on literacy instruction as part of the READ! by 4th Campaign. It will take place from July 6-10 at Martin Luther King High School, 6100 Stenton Ave. The District and Campaign are seeking volunteers to help with registration, directing to rooms, and setting up lunch. 7-8 am – Registration: 10-15 volunteers
9-11 am – Directing to rooms: 4-5 volunteers
12-2 pm – Set up and breakdown of lunch: 4-5 volunteers
1-3 pm – Directing to rooms: 4-5 volunteers
