Pottstown volunteers needed for Meals on Wheels
Family Services’ Meals on Wheels program is in need of volunteers to pack and deliver meals to homebound elderly and disabled individuals in the greater Pottstown area.

Meals on Wheels packing volunteers meet each weekday at Family Services’ Pottstown Office, 1976 East High Street. There are two shifts to pack meals: 8:15–10:15am and 10:30am–noon.
Volunteers who deliver meals meet weekdays at 10:30am at Family Services’ Pottstown Office. Delivery routes take approximately one-and-a-half hours to complete. Volunteer drivers must have a valid driver’s license, current insurance and their own reliable vehicle.
Most volunteers commit to packing or delivering meals once a week, while others volunteer on a substitute basis. Training is provided.
