Ormiston Mansion Garden Volunteer Opportunities
Do you have a green thumb? Would you like to use your love of gardening to help give back to the community?

If so, Ormiston Mansion Children’s Garden is the place for you. We are looking for individuals to assist us with our children’s history garden. Working in the garden has many benefits. It helps to increase a sense of community ownership and stewardship and brings people together for intergenerational sharing. There is a small stipend. You will work with our garden steward and other members of the community to maintain plots.

Volunteer Description:

Farming, Gardening, Horticulture
This is a good match for retired/semi-retired people 50+, long-time Philadelphia residents, and people with education/child-care experience.

Requirements & Commitment: Must be at least 40 years of age, 2 – 4 hours a week, available regularly on Monday afternoons from 12 PM to 2:00 PM, valid PA license, transportation, and criminal background check/clearances.
