Volunteers sought for multicultural health fair
Mt. Enon Community Outreach is seeking volunteers to assist with a multicultural community health fair planned for August 23rd. The outdoor event will take place from noon-5pm at Snyder Avenue, between 5th and 7th Streets. Health screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, prostate cancer, HIV, asthma, COPD, body fat and vision will be available. The event will also feature information on a host of health related issues, food, music and dancing.
Volunteer shifts are from 1- 2 ½ hours. Assistance is needed with registration, water distribution, entertainment, set-up, security, clean up and HIV Testing escorts. For more information, email Tamara Turman or call 856-265-8837.
