Lancaster Avenue Jazz & Arts Festival
Saturday, July 21 at Saunders Park, 39th & Powelton

People’s Emergency Center is hosting the Lancaster Avenue Jazz & Arts Festival on July 21st and we need your help!  Event will feature jazz performances, art exhibitions, family activities, walking tours, and craft and vendor markets.  This is great opportunity for groups to work together!

9am – 12pm:  Set-up.  Lifting, carrying and setting up tables, chairs and tents for the attendees community members and vendors.  After your shift stick around and enjoy some live music!

12pm -6pm:  Event Ambassadors.  Provide help to the elderly and handicapped guests in maneuvering around the event, assist as needed with children’s activities, assisting the lead organizer as requested, providing information to guests and participants about different event activities and features, monitoring the moon bounce.

5pm – 7pm:  Clean Up.  Taking down, lifting, carrying, and stacking tables, chairs and tents for pick up by the equipment vendor.  Picking up and disposing of any trash in the park.
