Donations and Volunteers Needed

2nd RELIEF EFFORT for survivors of HURRICANE KATRINA
Institute on Disabilities at Temple University and Temple University VOAD

Relief Effort for
ASSISTIVE DURABLE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT
All donations will be delivered to LATAN
(Louisiana Assistive Technology Access Network)

SPONSORS NEEDED:
? Local transportation/truck leasing
? Warehouse space
? Forklift equipment
? Pallets and pallet wraps
? Shirts for volunteers
? Food service for volunteers

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
? Administrative/Research
? Item pick up and delivery
? fork lift operations,
? and more…

? High capacity wheelchairs (300+lbs)
? Shower chairs, benches and transfer benches
? Commode chairs
? Chair Lifts
? Ramps of all types
? Hospital Beds–designed for home use
Other items needed:
? Walkers
? Crutches
? Adaptive Positioning boards/Feeding tables etc
? Various feeding supplements/formulas
? Consumable medical supplies i.e. diabetic supplies, pads, depends etc.

ALL equipment MUST be CLEAN and in GOOD WORKING ORDER
