Help KIPP Philadelphia High School Students Prepare for Summer Internships!

This summer, 35 rising KIPP high school seniors will have professional internships at organizations like Accenture, Temple University Hospital, the United Way of Greater Philadelphia, and GlaxoSmithKline. In order to ensure that students are ready for their internships, students are required to participate in several pre-internship trainings.

Volunteers are needed to assist with these pre-internship training sessions. We have a particular need for volunteers who are able to help students learn basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, email etiquette, etc.). You will work with students in small groups while a facilitator gives you various prompts for learning these programs.

Join us on either of the dates below:

Saturday, April 16, 10AM – 1PM (high need for volunteers)

Saturday, May 21, 10AM – 1PM

Both sessions will be at KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy, located at 5070 Parkside Ave. Basic Microsoft Office skills are required. Please RSVP for either session here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/N5PYSXD

Questions may be directed to Sarah Magnelia at [email protected] or Terezia Urban at [email protected].
