Volunteers sought for new health center campaign
Healthy Philadelphia, which has been working to get a new health care center to serve people living in lower northeast Philadelphia (especially people living in zip codes 19111, 19120, 19124 and 19149) is looking for volunteers to serve on its steering committee.

Wait times to be seen at a health center in the Northeast can be 8 months or longer. Thousands of people cannot get the health care they need, even those who have chronic health problems.
The group is looking for block captains, religious leaders, community leaders, people who live and/or work in the neighborhood, who can work with them for a new health center.
