Hunger Coalition seeks food pantry, SNAP volunteers
The Greater Philadelphia Coalition Against Hunger is looking for volunteers to assist with two programs: volunteering at one of a local soup kitchen/food pantry and to help with the SNAP (food stamp) program.
Volunteers with the SNAP program will help screen low income families to determine eligibility for the program and must attend two two-hour training sessions prior to starting. Volunteers are required to stay the duration of one semester.
