Grace Cafe seeks volunteers
Grace Cafe, a project of the Arch Street United Methodist Church, is a Sunday evening dinner program serving about 200 of homeless people each week. The program is a restaurant style (guests are served by “wait staff”) soup kitchen. Volunteers from churches and community organizations prepare and serve the meals each week.
The project also has individual volunteers who provide additional support as wait staff, assist with setting up and cleaning up and to meet, greet and build relationships with diners.
This year’s program begins on Sunday, September 14th and will run through next June 28th.
Volunteers are needed. For more information, email Darlene DiDomineck at [email protected].
