Volunteers Needed for Rescheduled Night Market, May 9

In case you haven’t heard, we had to reschedule our first Night Market of the season to May 9 due to impending storms. Because of the rescheduling, some volunteers who were previously available to help are no longer able to so so next week. The Food Trust is seeking volunteers to support operations for Night Market El Centro de Oro (5th & Lehigh) on May 9, 6-10 pm.

Volunteers can select from 3 shift options:
- 1st Shift:3:00 to 7:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 5:30 to 9:30 PM
- 3rd/Closing Shift: 7:00 PM to close
Duties will include everything that goes into making Night Market a success: set up, customer counting, handing out programs, tabling, greeting market goers, breakdown and cleanup.
PLUS – By volunteering, you contribute to The Food Trust’s mission of ensuring that everyone has access to affordable, nutritious food. In addition to being a fun food festival, Night Market helps support local food entrepreneurs and highlights new parts of the city. All volunteers will get the following perks:
