Volunteers need to Cook for a Friend
RSVP Philadelphia’s Cook for a Friend program is looking for volunteers to help prepare, cook, package and deliver meals to homebound seniors in the area.
In the last year the group delivered over 50,000 meals. Volunteers are needed to join with a group to cook and deliver (typically a group of 8 to 10 works best), but smaller groups can work too. Food can be prepared either at your own facilities or at kitchens of Klein JCC in Northeast Philadelphia.
