Volunteers needed, computer refurbishing

Learn How to Build a Computer
The People’s Emergency Center’s Digital Inclusion program is designed to increase the technological literacy of low-income families and at-risk youth and to improve their educational resources and access to relevant human service information and tools to help address various barriers to family stability and self-sufficiency. To date, PEC has distributed over 300 computers to PEC clients and neighborhood residents. We need volunteers who can help refurbish the computers before we disperse them to our neighbors and clients. We ask that volunteers have an interest in learning about computers and new technology. No experience is necessary but a desire to give back to the community is a must. You may contact us by email di@pec-cares.org or by phone 215-382-7522 ext267.
