Clean-up needs volunteers
Join AFL-CIO/United Way Community Services, in partnership with the PhillyRising Collaborative and Global Citizen, for a community clean-up and resource day on June 21st from 9am to 1pm.
Volunteers along with community residents will clean the streets and yards within a 4 block radius around the Myers Recreation Center at 58th Street and Kingsessing Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia.
Following the clean-up, there will be a Community Resource Day at 1pm at the recreation center with valuable information to assist with community issues, employment, volunteer opportunities, and basic needs.
