Church needs volunteers for youth programs
The Church of the Advocate is looking for volunteers interested in implementing youth programs and activities.
The church has experienced a strong relationship with the community and has been a trendsetter in a number of areas from civil and human rights to implementing summer camps dating back to 1965. It has a specific need for volunteers interested in a chess club. After School Activities Partnerships will teach a volunteer and will provide materials needed for the classroom. There will also be chess tournaments around the city that can be taken advantage of.
