volunteers needed, Campus Philly Kick-Off Concert
Posted by on September 10, 2004
We are looking for volunteers for the Campus Philly Kick-Off concert production, for October 2. Please forward this to student event planners/program board officers that you have a relationship with or that are known to do good work. Although any student could potentially help, we think it’s a great opportunity to involve program board officers.
We will also be hosting a VIP gathering after the concert for program board officers and student event planners (whether or not they can assist with production) — probably at the after party at Shampoo.
Below I’ve outlined the areas where we need support:
2 students: PR outreach, starting immediately and day of event
Help plan press conference, traffic press inquiries, and solicit college newspaper coverage
4 for Artist Hospitality, day of event, light prep
Help cater to performing artists on site at the event; some prep work in advance
2 Stage Assistants, day of event
Help manage the side stages and assist at the main stage, light prep in advance
2 runners and “shopping assistants” — must have car and be willing to use it
If available, students who can help shop and do errands starting Sep 29 inthe afternoons/evenings and day of show.
1 for Vendor Administration (starting Sep 15)
Assist in coordinating on-site insurance and vendor logistics
1 Volunteer Graphic Designer, starting asap
Assist with credentials and generally simple graphic design work for onsite signage
