volunteers needed, BuildaBridge Arts Programs
Posted by on October 04, 2010
BuildaBridge is a non-profit arts education organization dedicated to bringing hope and healing to vulnerable children, families, and communities in the tough places of the world through direct arts-integrated intervention and cross-cultural service. BuildaBridge motivates, enlists, trains and connects those who have the desire to serve others through their artistic gifts with those in greatest need. We are looking for volunteers in the following areas: 1) Classroom Assistants to assist lead teachers and build healthy relationships with kids in the art education classes we provide at homeless shelters throughout the city (clearances required). 2) International artist opportunities with our one-week Diaspora of Hope arts camps in Haiti, Kenya & Nicaragua. 3) Extended stay International Artist internships in Haiti and India. Training provided and required for all. See http://www.buildabridge.org for more information. Please contact Danielle Dembrosky, Programs Administrator, on how to get involved. ddembro@buildabridge.org
