Interested in helping with a FREE basic adult literacy class at the Nicetown-Tioga Library? We are in search of some volunteer tutors to help give personalized attention to adult learners.
We are starting a FREE basic literacy course for adults to help them improve their reading and writing skills. We are looking for kind, patient, and responsible volunteers to assist in this program. For more information, email adultlearning@freelibrary.org.
The classes will meet on Tuesdays from 1:30-3:30 PM in the upstairs meeting room (no elevators) in the Nicetown-Tioga Library, 3720 North Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19140, 215-685-9790.
Please share with your networks, and if you are interested, please email adultlearning@freelibrary.org
[This class will most likely launch mid-July. Long-term goal is to pay tutors.]
