volunteers needed, Bartram’s Garden
Posted by on February 19, 2012
Hello to all of you interested in helping at the Nursery at Bartram’s Garden,
We are very excited to let you know that toward the end of February, we will be receiving shipments of plants that will be the beginnings of new stock for the Nursery at Bartram’s Garden. Some of the plants will also be grown-on for the annual Bartram’s Garden Plant Sale.
All of the plants will arrive in containers far too small for them to survive very long under the conditions that we are able to provide for them.
I am writing to ask for your help in getting these plants into their new homes (repotting) on the following dates and times:
Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Saturday, March 3, 2012 from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
We will meet at the Horticulture Barn, behind the Welcome Center.
Please RSVP to Bob Allen if you able to help on either of these dates

Important note: The main access road to the Garden may be closed during these times due to construction of the new Bike Trail. There will be a detour with alternate access to the site from 56th Street, near the Community Farm at Bartram’s Garden.
Thank you. We look forward to working with you!
