Volunteers Needed, Afterschool Program

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM
VOS Community Outreach Services is a non-profit organization currently seeking volunteers to participate in it’s after-school program. The after-school program focuses on scholastic achievement, computer technology, life skills and anti-violence. The program hours are from 3pm to 6pm from Monday to Friday. The program serves k to 6 grade, age 5 to 13 and is located in North Philadelphia at 23rd and Jefferson Streets.
Volunteers selected will be those with a heart for inner city children and youth, a high school diploma and time to volunteer at least 2 times per week. Volunteers will act as support workers and would be responsible for engaging youth in fun enrichment activities.
