Volunteer with WorkReady Philadelphia!
WorkReady Philadelphia is a coordinated and expanded citywide youth employment and training initiative which believes in supporting youth employment as a form of community and economic development. Each year WorkReady Philadelphia serves more than 6,000 youth.
WorkReady Philadelphia is in need of volunteers who will act as facilitators along with the WorkReady staff. Those interested in volunteering will be trained in facilitating a work readiness workshop module. WorkReady Philadelphia is an opportunity to be a role model of everything that entails being a professional to tomorrow’s workforce.
The summits will be held at several corporate facilities and college campuses throughout the City, June 19 and June 26, 2004 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Those interested should contact Harvey Chism, Director of Training, Philadelphia Youth Network, (215) 875-3429 or hchism@pyninc.org
