Volunteer projects sought for 2011 King Day of Service
Every year since 1996, thousands of volunteers throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware have made the Greater Philadelphia Martin Luther King Day of Service the largest King Day of Service in the nation.
This year, you can join the movement to make King Day a “day on, not a day off” by organizing and hosting a service project that reflects the principles of Dr. King and addresses the concerns and needs of the community.
Hosting a King Day of Service event can have a powerful impact on an organization. To sign up to host a project, go here.

The deadline for registering projects is Friday, November 19th. To help in planning a project, a number of workshops are being held online and throughout the region in the next several weeks. Visit here to RSVP for an upcoming planning workshop.
