Volunteer Opportunities at Project HOME

In Kind Donation/Volunteer Opportunities at Project HOME
There are hundreds of ways to volunteer at Project H.O.M.E. Here are two new volunteer opportunities that have sprung up:
One of our Safe Havens, St. Columba’s, is looking to start a community garden this spring! In order to make this a huge success, they are looking for pots, soil, plants, and seeds. Please contact Brian Shingledecker at brianshingledecker@projecthome.org if you are able to donate any of these much needed items. Do you have a green thumb? Are you willing to share your gardening expertise? To volunteer, please contact Nicki Olivier at nickiolivier@projecthome.org.
Or if traditional gardening is not your thing, how about planting seeds of democratic citizenship? Consider helping the Vote for Homes Coalition register voters. Vote for Homes! is a NONPARTISAN coalition registering thousands of people who are people who are living on low-incomes, including those who are homeless, living with disabilities, or ex-offenders. For more info, please visit http://www.voteforhomes.org.
We also need volunteers to tutor with our adult learning and youth after-school programs. If you have other volunteer interests, we welcome those, too! Please contact nickiolivier@projecthome.org.
