volunteer, Night Market Washington Avenue

Posted by on June 18, 2012

Thank you to the wonderful group of volunteers who came out for Night Market Northern Liberties on May 24th! It was an amazing success! We’re busy gearing up for Night Market Washington Ave. on Thursday, June 28th from 6-10 pm at 9th and Washington, and could really use a whole lot of volunteers to help out.  This popular event will feature amazing street food vendors and restaurants serving the city’s best ethnic street eats in addition to fabulous arts and entertainment. Duties will include everything that goes into making Night Market run: set up, customer counting, picking up litter, handing out brochures, tabling, greeting market goers, Friends of Night Market tent and, of course, breakdown and clean up.

Plus, all volunteers will be fed at night market by one of our AMAZING Night market vendors!

There will be 3 shifts this time: 3-7,   6-10, and 9-12:30 AM.

If you would like to volunteer please let me know by Thursday, June 21st with your shift preference and cell phone number. Friends, partners, significant others and colleagues are all welcome to volunteer as well, I will just need them to complete the contact information portion of the attached volunteer application.

There will also be a Night Market Volunteer Orientation for this Night Market which we are strongly encouraging volunteers to attend. It will be Monday, June 25th at 5:00 pm at The Food Trust office. Please save the date in your calendar for this orientation, we will discuss your duties and assignments for the event in an effort to streamline the process and efficiently manage all of our fantastic volunteers on the busy night of Night Market! Please let me know if you will be able to attend by June 21st as well.

Please let me know if you have any questions and thanks so much for your help and support!
