Volunteer needed: Community Voice Mail
Posted by on February 4, 2005
Community Voice Mail allows those who are homeless or participating in Welfare to Work to have an electronic answering machine to receive important messages from prospective employers, service providers, family members, and others. Travelers Aid Philadelphia coordinates this national program for the city of Philadelphia. We are seeking a volunteer to help us with organizing and updating our records through data entry and collections and assist us in expanding our visibility through phone contacts and presentations. This volunteer would work out of our West Philadelphia office. All volunteers are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and Child Abuse Clearance administered and paid for by the agency. If you are interested in this opportunity please contact Jill Grossberg @ 215-523-7580, ext. 402.
