The National College Fair Orientation Committee need volunteers to serve as “Greeters” during the fair on Sunday, October 30, 2005. Come volunteer for us for at least one hour. Volunteers times are between 11am and 4pm.
Purpose:
To help students and their families navigate the fair. We want to provide more assistance to enhance the fair experience for families who may have never attended a National College Fair before.
Orientation:
A brief orientation (approximately 15 – 20 minutes) will be held for all Greeters on the day of the fair, Sunday. The orientation will help Greeters to understand what we want to accomplish for the day, what you may expect from participants, and strategies or information to help guide families appropriately. All greeters will get a National College Fair Polo shirt and a button to wear that encourages families to approach you if they have questions.
Contact Information:
If you are interested or have any questions, please contact Cindy Blackston at 215-489-4954 or BlackstC@devalcol.edu.
