volunteer facilitators needed for poverty simulation
Posted by on April 26, 2010
The 21st CCLC Regional Training sponsored by the Center for Schools and Communities in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Department of Education will take place in King of Prussia, PA on May 19, 2010. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in one of two “tracks”. Our poverty track will feature a national caliber presenter in the morning, followed by the poverty simulation in the afternoon.
We have several organizations interested in hosting the poverty simulation, but we are currently in need of 20-30 volunteer facilitators. The facilitators would receive a one hour orientation on May 19, 2010 in the morning, lunch, and would then participate in the simulation. These facilitators play an integral part in the execution of the simulation and would reap the benefits of the experience.
