Hopeworks ‘N Camden, nationally recognized not-for-profit organization founded in 2000 in Camden, NJ, is in search of our next volunteer art curator!
The art curator will help us manage and grow our renowned art collection at the CRIB our residence for youth 18-23. Currently, the collection has over 400 pieces, and we are excited to add more!
Duties for this important opportunity include:
Art Rotation & Care
- Rotate the art every 3 months so that the displays are continually fresh, interesting, and appealing to the eye
- Store art and art supplies in an orderly, climate controlled, and respectful way
Artist solicitation and recruitment
- Connect with artist to add new permanent or loaned pieces to the collection
- Ensure that art on “loan” is returned to the artists in a proper way.
- Engage the larger community in the CRIB art collection through social media, including twitter, Pintrest, and Facebook
