Volunteer After School Academic Tutors Needed, Norris Square Neighborhood Project
Want to work with Philadelphia’s urban youth in a creative, fun, energetic environment? Give SUPPORT to young people in the Norris Square Neighborhood Project so that they can grow up to become leaders!
NSNP welcomes those who have experience working with youth (especially in communities of color) to volunteer with our After School Program!
The program serves youth 9-12th grade Monday-Thursday 3:00-6:00. Volunteers assist Group Leaders by helping to supervise and facilitate projects (ex: art, youth leadership development, entrepreneurial activities) with youth, and provide homework help and mentorship.
Sign up now to volunteer October – December 2014 and January to June 2014. This experience can also count as an Internship for your school.
To Apply: Please send an email of interest to raisa@myneighborhoodproject.org, resumes appreciated!
