    • Volunteer: ACHIEVEability Impact Day – Apr 25

    Join Us for Impact Day 2025, a neighborhood wide day of service and celebration in our neighborhood. Together, we’ll raise funds and plant seeds of change.

    Last year’s Impact Day led to the rehabilitation of 52 homes, upgrades to 11 businesses, the planting of 10 trees, the construction of 20 picnic tables, and the installation of five mini-libraries, beautifying more than 50 neighborhood blocks and breathing new life into cherished community green spaces. This year, we’re aiming even higher, setting ambitious goals to:
    • Revitalize 150 homes across West Philly
    • Install 10 additional mini-libraries
    • Beautify 50+ neighborhood blocks
    • Restore and enhance community green spaces
    • Open a community garden
    Volunteer efforts will focus on the 5400 to 6300 blocks of Market Street to Haverford Avenue and include:
    • Block Beautification: Sweeping streets, pulling weeds, and removing litter to create a cleaner, greener neighborhood.
    • Porches that Pop (Sponsored by URBN): Power washing, painting, and installing mailboxes and planters to brighten up homes.
    • Tree Tending: Caring for newly planted trees along the 60th Street corridor to enhance the community’s green spaces.
    • Community Garden Project (Sponsored by FS Investments): Prepping gardens for the growing season by weeding, planting, and nurturing spaces that provide fresh produce and gathering spots.
    • Creative Community Crafts: Decorating mini free libraries, crafting Mother’s Day cards, and creating wreaths and hanging planters to add color and joy to the neighborhood.
    Volunteering: Opportunities are open to residents, corporate teams, and nonprofit partners. All service projects will take place along the 60th and Market Street corridor.
