Vocabulary Development Exercise for K-12
Posted by on March 17, 2006
I hope you’ll take a minute today to “meet” and learn from Sarah Kurachek, an AmeriCorps member and author of the March 2006 National Strategy of the Month. Sarah joined City of Lakes AmeriCorps in Minnesota after graduating from Duke University in 2004, and now tutors and mentors 15 students in small group and on-on-one settings at Minneapolis North High School.
Sarah recently created an engaging vocabulary development exercise for students in elementary, middle and high school. You can read Sarah’s strategy through March 31st at http://americalearns.net/strategy.htm. We hope you’ll find the strategy useful for the students you serve.
