Visual Art Teaching Artist (Part-Time), West Park Cultural Center

We are looking for a teaching artist to join our team for afterschool arts programming starting in January. Art mediums preferred but not limited to painting and drawing. Afterschool classes usually run 2 times per week from 4:30 – 6:00 pm. West Park Cultural Center operates programming in West Philadelphia. Pay is per class not per hour with classes running 1.5 hours. Program participants are primarily middle school age.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children and youth
- Clearances (child abuse, criminal, FBI fingerprint)
- Good energy and reliable
Education Level: College or Meaningful Experience working with children in your arts field
