The Mayor’s Office of Civic Engagement and Volunteer service is excited to announce a contract role for a yearlong Equity Fellow to do strategic planning and implementation of anti-racist practices for the Serve Philadelphia VISTA Program especially as it relates to VISTA member recruitment, selection and retention. We are looking for an individual who has background and experience in strategic planning and implementing diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
The role is grant-funded and offered as an individual contract (1099 vendor) through the Mayor’s Fund for Philadelphia. The fellow will work with and report to the Mayor’s Office of Civic Engagement and Volunteer Service. It is anticipated that this role would require a time commitment of 40 hours per week over a period of 1-year. This position is grant funded and the compensation is budgeted for $25/hour. This role is offered as a remote work opportunity due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
