VISTA Program Empowerment Director, DREAM Program Philadelphia
Now recruiting for 2 Program Empowerment Directors (PEDs) to work for the DREAM Program in Philadelphia.
DREAM is a youth development organization that works to change the life outcomes of youth living in low-income housing developments by providing high quality, college campus based, year-round Village Mentoring, summer enrichment programming, local and regional adventures, support for post-secondary success, and an unwavering commitment to some of our most vulnerable youth.
Program Empowerment Director’s oversee school year and summer enrichment programming, recruit and orient youth participants and families and develop program curriculum. PEDs are also responsible for training and empowering college mentors, managing teen “mentors-in-training”, evaluating program impact and develop outreach and recruitment strategies for program expansion. DREAM is a small but growing organization originating from Vermont but have successfully launched expansion sites in Boston in 2009 and Philadelphia this past December.
