The Mayor’s Office of Civic Engagement and Volunteer Service (MOCEVS) is expanding its Serve Philadelphia VISTA Program and hiring two Program Coordinators.
The Serve Philadelphia VISTA Program places 60+ full-time AmeriCorps service members across 25+ City Departments for one year to fight the injustices and causes of poverty. The two Serve Philadelphia VISTA Program Coordinators will specialize in different aspects of the program: a Sub-site Coordinator and an Outreach & Recruitment Coordinator.
Qualified candidates for either position should demonstrate:
- A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion values
- Coalition and partnership building skills
- A clear understanding of best practices in community engagement and recruitment/retention
