Centro Nueva Creaci?n is a multi-service youth and family center in the Fairhill neighborhood of Philadelphia. We are looking for committed, creative individuals to fill the following Americorps/VISTA positions.

1 Computer Lab Director-Americorps/VISTA

This position will involve upgrading our community computer lab to offer quality access to technology to our neighborhood. Responsibilities include helping to upgrade and maintain network, build web site and teach web design to youth, train community teachers in age-appropriate software, and develop curriculum for a pre-employment program for youth. 1-year commitment. Will work closely with Executive Director to brainstorm creative ways to utilize technology in community transformation.

Bachelor’s Degree or significant progress towards Bachelor’s required.

2 Resource Developer-Americorps/VISTA

This Americorps/VISTA position will include grant writing, volunteer recruitment, event planning and other resource development for a youth and family community based organization in the West Kensington/Fairhill section of north Philadelphia. Will work closely with Executive Director on fundraising and development strategy. 1-year commitment

Bachelor’s Degree or significant progress towards Bachelor’s required.
