The College Access Center is the result of a dynamic collaboration with the Philadelphia Mayor’s Office of Education’s Connect2 College initiative and Drexel’s Lindy Center for Civic Engagement. The VISTA will develop and manage the implementation of Drexel University’s Connect2College site and college access programming at the College Access Center, including; recruiting high school students, developing pertinent relationships in the community, working with Let’s Get Ready SAT Prep program to recruit and train student volunteers to teach SAT Prep classes, and developing workshops and events aimed at applying to and success within college. The VISTA has the unique opportunity to work with a range of constituents, including local teens, community partners, college access program providers and a supportive office team!
