VISTA, KIPP Cooper Norcross Academy

KIPP New Jersey schools are part of the nationally recognized “Knowledge Is Power Program” non-profit network of college-preparatory, free, public charter schools educating elementary, middle, and high school students. The KIPP Community Outreach and Student Recruitment VISTA will be responsible for conducting community outreach and developing a team of parent volunteers to increase enrollment for KIPP Cooper Norcross Academy (KCNA). As our network of schools grows and is able to serve more students, the VISTA member will help develop and execute our strategy for informing parents and students that they have an opportunity to attend our school. This VISTA member will also lead the design and implementation of our student recruitment strategy and will be integral in the planning of community events. This opportunity is perfect for someone interested in pursuing a career in education, education administration, community development, or public policy.
