Kindergarten Readiness Outreach Coordinator
Member Duties : VISTA will identify how early learning providers are currently connected to public schools in 17 school districts in Lehigh Valley. VISTA will work with Lehigh Valley early learning coalitions to identify and present activities that create smooth transition to kindergarten. VISTA will establish an advocacy platform aligning Lehigh Valley early learning coalitions with United Way investments in early childhood education for low income families.
Program Benefits : Training, Childcare assistance if eligible, Living Allowance, Choice of Education Award or End of Service Stipend, Health Coverage, Relocation Allowance.
Terms : Prohibits paid work outside of the sponsoring agency at any time.

Service Description : The goal of this project is to improve regional outreach to parents, schools, and early learning providers to ensure that children from low income families receive quality early learning experiences and make smooth transition to kindergarten ready to learn.
