Virtual Workshop for Students: Fighting Words Poetry Workshop – Apr 2
Posted by The Pulitzer Center on March 31, 2020
While we continue to learn more about the impact of the coronavirus on school schedules, the Pulitzer Center education team will be offering a series of web-based events for teachers and students. If you have questions about our offerings, or suggestions about what programs you’d like us to offer in future weeks, please reach out to our team at [email protected].
Thursday, April 2, 2020, 1:00–2:15PM ET: In this workshop for students, we will use poetry to respond to current events, make personal connections to global issues, and make our voices heard. Poems crafted in this workshop can be entered into the 2020 Fighting Words Poetry Contest for the chance to win cash prizes and publication.
While this workshop is open to all students, it is designed for grades 6–12. Register here: https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_RmPF3tDaTuWxB81XPYXsdA?utm_source=email&utm_medium=educationnewsletter&utm_campaign=3252020
