Join MENTOR Independence Region for a free virtual training Combatting White Saviorism in Mentors and Mentoring Programs on June 7, 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM.
In this virtual training for mentoring program staff, leaders, and board members, participants will explore what white saviorism looks like as well as the harmful impact it has on youth and communities. Participants will develop the ability to recognize white saviorism in mentoring relationships and programs and explore concrete strategies to combat its harmful effects. This free training is made possible by generous funding from The Wawa Foundation.
