Virtual Training: AI in Action: An Equity Learning Lab – Jul 15 & 22

Posted by The Center for Black Educator Development on June 30, 2026

AI is already changing how we teach, lead, plan, and support students. The question is how we use it with intention, equity, and care.

The Center for Black Educator Development invites you to join us for our next virtual AI in Action Learning Lab series. We are offering another opportunity to take our 101 session on Wednesday July 15, 4:00-6:30 PM, followed by a 201 session on Wednesday, July 22, 4:00-6:30 PM.

Whether you are just beginning to explore AI or ready to deepen your practice, these sessions are designed to help educators and education professionals move from curiosity to confident, responsible use.

The AI in Action: 101 session will help participants build a foundational understanding of AI tools, explore practical use cases, and begin thinking about how AI can support teaching, planning, communication, and student-centered work. Register here.

The follow-up AI in Action: 201 session will go deeper into application. Participants will explore stronger prompting strategies, practical workflows, and ways to use AI to save time while keeping equity, creativity, and critical thinking at the center. Register here.

These sessions are ideal for:

  • K–12 educators
  • School and district leaders
  • Instructional coaches
  • Higher education professionals
  • Education nonprofit and workforce partners
  • Anyone supporting teaching, learning, or educator development

Participants are encouraged to attend both sessions, but you may register for the session that best fits your current level of experience.
