Join MENTOR Independence Region for a free virtual tour of MENTOR’s new resource – the Critical Mentoring Supplement to the Elements of Effective Practice for Mentoring on January 10, 12:00 pm-12:30 pm! The goal of the supplement is to provide organizations across the mentoring field with resources, scholarship, and practices that respond to the acute and enduring struggles of young people experiencing marginalization. Critical Mentoring provides the tools mentors and youth workers need to create programmatic spaces that support young people as they develop into themselves, allow them to ask difficult questions, provide them with opportunities to find their own voice, and support them as they work toward a better future.
