Virtual Summit: United State of Young Women – Jul 22-24
Posted by ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge on July 21, 2020
The ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge is proud to announce that it is partnering with The United State Of Women and would like to formally invite you to participate in the United State of Young Women Virtual Summit. These three days of free online programming will center the voices and experiences of young women, particularly women of color, both cis and trans, femmes, and gender-nonconforming people, ages 14-24.
The digital event will take place daily from 12:00 pm – 3:00 PM ET on July 22 – 24. Throughout each day, groundbreaking Millennial and Gen Z activists and organizers will be discussing social issues important to young women through mainstage panels on voting, climate change, media and culture, violence against girls, leadership, and health.
There will also be daily breakout panels led by national and local women’s organizations. Our very own Dominique McMillan will discuss the challenges of college student voting on Friday, July 24, at 12:50 PM ET. By the end of the week, you will have gained new ideas and friendships, valuable perspectives, and the tools, resources, and next steps needed to make change at all levels!
The United State of Young Women online convening is quickly approaching, and we want to make sure that you have the opportunity to participate in this transformative event!
