A virtual panel discussion on May 25 will convene panelists to discuss employers’ hiring and retention strategies before and after the pandemic. Research from the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia drawing on interviews with manufacturing and leisure and hospitality firms in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware will be featured on the panel, as will research conducted with firms and workers in Northeast Ohio. The conversation will also highlight initiatives designed to strengthen the connection between lower-wage
workers and good jobs far into the future.
